Wednesday 30th May 2012 - Arugam Bay, Sri Lanka

I didn't do anything spectacular today. I walked up the beach to Main Point which is where all the surfers go to surf. I just sat and watched all the professionals do their thing wishing I could do it! I swam for a bit, sun bathed and then went back to my hotel.  In the evening Neesh picked me up on the motorbike again and then took me to his cousins place for Sri Lankan food. We arrived at the place and were sitting at a table flicking through channels on the television when Neesh got a phone call telling us to go upstairs. I was very confused!  We walked up the stairs at out onto the roof of the building where there was nothing but a candle-lit table!! I couldn't believe my eyes and laughed hysterically!  Neesh told me how he is loving me, that he wants to be with me, and how he really enjoyed our talk yesterday. It was the sweetest thing and I had never had something like this done for me before but I had to let him down gently. I explained again that my heart is somewhere else. He said that it may be somewhere else but I may get home and find that my ex doesn't want me so Neesh said he will wait for me! Arghh! I really didn't want to be harsh and tell him I didn't like him but I just said that I only see him as a friend and that he shouldn't wait.  The food was amazing though - proper Sri Lankan food! Prawn curry, Daal, coconut sambal, rice and poppadoms. I ate loads!  After food we went for a drink at Siam View but I was too full that I couldn't drink! We played Jenga and Connect 4 - Neesh had never played either of the games before and had no idea what they were so I had to teach him. It was good fun.  We then went to Beach hut for a drink before Neesh dropped me back to my hotel. When he dropped me back I hugged him and said thank you but the fish bloody pulled back and tried to kiss me! I pushed him away and said no but he tried again! Again I pushed him away and had to close the gate in his face.
